Description |
Rhizome creeping, 1–1.8 mm thick; rhizome scales ovate-lanceolate in outline, entire, 2.1–3.5 x 0.9–1.3 mm. Fronds simple, closely spaced (2-5 mm). Stipe 1–5 mm long, more or less tomentose but becoming hairless. Lamina linear in outline, usually terete due to inrolling, 2–15.5(–21) x 1–2(–4) mm, apex pointed, base narrowly tapering; covered with grey, uniform stellate hairs 0.3–0.5 mm diameter with short flattened arms; hydathodes appearing as white dots in a single row along the margin of the upper surface of the frond. Sori all over or confined to upper 2/3 of the frond, emerging from the haircover at maturity. |
